The preparation of metallic samples is nowadays made by using a variety of ways, based on the hardness of the metal. Many times, the preheating of the sample is essential for softening the metal and thus facilitating its subsequent processing, whether by punching or crushing. The EQH- 3.0 Induction Heater has been particularly developed for heating up bars and lollipops for their fast softening.
The EQH-3.0 Induction Heater has got five predefined programs in order to cater for the requests of the routines in the preparation of samples in steel foundries and factories. It is possible to modify these programs according to the type of sample and the requirements of each client.
The EQH-3.0 just needs a power source of 200 V and a space of 50 x 50 cm., and it also has the capacity to heat up a piece of metal to high temperatures within just 30 seconds – as per the selected program
The operation of the unit is extremely simple. Once the desired program is chosen, the sample must be placed inside the coil to be heated and then the «START» button must be pushed. The heater will then switch on – the lamp inside unit two will indicate that the coil is being heated.
After reaching the established time, the unit will warn with a high pitch sound that the power in the coil will decrease to a stop in order to allow the sample to be taken out. The sample, at this moment, will be perfectly ready for processing – as a safety measure, the lamp will continue on for 30 seconds or more.
