X21 One Component System for Bonding and Priming Polyolefinic Surfaces

X21 is a one part toughened system that cures in a thin layer at room temperature or more quickly upon exposure to heat. As a primer, it is used for promoting adhesion to polyolefinic substrates to other kinds of materials, such as metals, ceramics, composites and other kinds of plastics. Surfaces primed with X21 are compatible with a wide variety of adhesives including epoxy and silicone systems.

As an adhesive, it is utilized for bonding one polyolefin surface to another one. Maximum area of effectiveness for joining these substrates is about 1 square inch. When employed as a primer, there is no such limitation in the size of the pieces. X21 is a very low viscosity solvent based system that is easy to apply and process.
