ferro.lyte® is a mobile metal analyzer optimized for use in metal production, metal processing and metal recycling. ferro.lyte uses the principle of optical emission spectrometry (OES) with spark excitation.
Unlike traditional handheld instruments, ferro.lyte makes it possible to precisely analyze with low atomic numbers such as C, P, S, B, Li, Be, Ca, Si, Mg, Al and determine nitrogen in duplex within a few seconds.

Even without a trolley, the integrated argon bottle holder and a holder for the hand probe ensure the analyzer is easy to move and safe to operate. Unmatched OES Nitrogen Analysis in Duplex
Elementar's innovative CONLYTE® technology substantially improves analytical performance for nitrogen in duplex. Additionally, the long-term stability for the measurement of phosphorus, sulfur and boron is increased. Contrary to conventional systems, ferro.lyte utilizes an extended wavelength range to determine nitrogen content that was previously only attainable by laboratory instruments.
The extension of the wavelength range is made possible by the exceptional CONLYTE technology developed by Elementar (patent pending). Due to the CONLYTE technology, the air gap between the light channel and the plasma, which is typical in mobile spectrometers, is entirely sealed from the atmosphere. Therefore, it is not possible for atmospheric changes to impact the measurement signal, which is essential for always achieving dependable analysis results.
The analyzer automatically stores the analysis results and they can be uploaded to the secure lyticOS® cloud simultaneously. This facilitates dynamic new working methods. Analysis data can be rapidly and efficiently shared and processed further. The measured values are available "On Demand" if needed at any time, even when the instrument is not available, for further distribution or processing.
