The wide range PT 100 resistor available from Allectra is a class A resistor that enables accurate measurement of temperature between −200 °C and +750 °C. The class A resistor provides very low tolerances and higher stability in comparison to thermocouples.
The resistor comes in a standard version, or along with four cables connected. It is also available as a set that includes screw-on clamp and thermal contact foil. Users can obtain alternative cable configurations on demand.

It is possible to perform several modifications:

The following are the recommended alternative cables:
- 311-KAP-RIB4 (4-way ribbon cable of 0.35 mm)
- 311-KAPM-035 (diameter of 0.35 mm)
- 311-KAPM-035-RAD (radiation-resistant wire of 0.35 mm)
The thermal contact foil (317-TCP-20x20) melts at a temperature of 58 °C and offers an optimal contact to the base material at a thermal conductivity of 125 W/mK. It does not contain any filler.
