Rainin multichannel pipettes offer industry-leading channel-to-channel consistency.

Amplify Your Output

The innovative engineering of METTLER TOLEDO’s XLS+ multichannel pipette will help users to perform a higher amount of work precisely and with excellent comfort.

The latest polymer tip ejectors and elastomeric seals, together with Rainin’s patented LTS™ LiteTouch System™, provide both control and smoothness while pipetting.

A Comfortable, Ergonomic Pipette

The durable Pipet-Lite XLS+ is lightweight and engineered for use with either hand. It is among the most ergonomic manual multichannel pipettes in the market. The “stiction-less” sealing technology, sure-fit handle and light springs guarantee smooth and light operation, and considerably minimize the risk of repetitive strain injuries. The meticulously shaped fingerhook facilitates a relaxed grip.

The tip and nozzle design of the LTS make mounting multichannel tips extremely easy. It ensures perfect sealing each time, without hand-tightening or rocking. Users will be amazed at their dexterity of getting absolutely consistent sample pickup over all channels. With LTS, the tip ejection force is only 0.6 kg.

Compliant Pipette

Service records, status data, and cycles are stored in the embedded RFID tag of the XLS+ pipette and are totally tamper-proof, in complete compliance with GLP/GMP standards.

What is a Multichannel Pipette?

Multichannel pipettes are essentially air-displacement pipettes that function just like single-channel pipettes. They include numerous nozzles (typically 8 or 12) that are organized in a horizontal row on which tips are placed.

Channels are spaced 9 mm apart so as to align with the wells of a 96-well plate—the most standard assay platform in life science laboratories to expedite routine pipetting procedures.
