Autoclavable Pipette

What is a Multichannel Pipette?

Multichannel pipettes are essentially air-displacement pipettes that function just like single-channel pipettes. They include numerous nozzles (typically 8 or 12) that are organized in a horizontal row on which tips are placed.

Channels are spaced 9 mm apart so as to align with the wells of a 96-well plate—the most standard assay platform in life science laboratories to expedite routine pipetting procedures.
