  • 109 cycle testing in 14 hours (compared to 39 days at 300 Hz)

  • Stress range: 100 to 1,200 MPa, but 1000 MPa steels may also be tested
  • Test frequency ranges from 20 to ± 500 kHz
    • 109 cycle tests in 14 hours (39 days at 300 Hz)
    • 1010 cycle tests in 6 days (365 days at 300 Hz)
  • Displacement of ±50 µm at the end surface of the horn
  • Mean stress load option is available
  • Small tabletop design
  • Simulates fatigue failure appearance from micro-defects and inclusions
  • Resonance technique minimizes power consumption when compared to conventional fatigue tests
  • Air-cooled and no oil or cooling water is required
