Overview
The Torion® T-9 GC/MS is considered to be the world’s smallest portable GC or MS and is user-friendly, quick and reliable.
The combined system features a low thermal mass capillary gas chromatograph with high-speed temperature programming and a miniaturized toroidal ion trap mass spectrometer (TMS) having a mass range varying from 41 to 500 Daltons. Samples are injected with a help of a novel needle trap (CUSTODION-NT) or a CUSTODION® solid phase microextraction (SPME) fiber syringe.
PerkinElmer’s full Torion T-9 GC/MS system is completely self-contained, weighs around 32 pounds and is rechargeable battery operated. It is easy to handle, with a simple three-button navigation or a color touch screen user interface. The speed and portability of the system make it perfect for analysis outside the laboratory of the users.
