A Corson alloy is a unique type of copper alloy developed using silicon and nickel as the main alloying elements. The combination of high strength, conductivity and bend formability enables these alloys to be used primarily for connector contacts and lead frames in mobile phones, personal computers and electronic devices. 

Currently, this element has found essential application in the data-driven society.

  • A connector that supplies large volumes of electricity tends to suppress heat generation and enhances the energizing efficiency

  • Although possessing high conductivity, they maintain the same level of bendability, strength and heat resistance, similar to the traditional Corson alloys

  • The volume of electricity supplied can be increased by high-conductivity Corson alloys enabling its usage in areas where traditional Corson alloys cannot find applications like quick charging and next-generation USB4 connections

Features

  • High-conductivity Corson alloy  has the ability to maintain strength and display high conductivity when compared to traditional C7025, C7035 and NKC286.
  • NKC1816-SH and C7025-TM045 have enhanced conductivity with C7025-grade strength, and the NKC4820-EH maintains the strength of C7025 and significantly enhances conductivity.
  • The company has a track of record manufacturing micro connector compatible plates measuring as thin as 60 μm.
