Ion Science's Tiger handheld VOC gas detector is an innovative portable and handheld PID instrument that has been specifically developed for the rapid and accurate detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
The handheld VOC gas detector from ION incorporates ION Science patented photoionization detection (PID) sensor technology integrated with humidity resistance and anti-contamination design, which enhances run time in the field.
Features
The Tiger handheld VOC gas detector provides a dynamic detection range of 0 to 20,000 parts per million (ppm) with a decreased sensitivity of 0.001 ppm (1 ppb).
When compared to other VOC detectors available commercially, the Tiger handheld delivers the largest measurement range possible. The quick response time of just 2 seconds is the quickest on the market, and the clear down is rapid.
Tiger has been specifically designed to ensure the safe replacement of batteries in dangerous environments. Long-life rechargeable Li-ion batteries give up to 24 hours of use. Quick battery charging allows the instrument to achieve a full charge in 6.5 hours, while just 1.5 hours of charge can offer 8 hours of use.
The other instruments in the Tiger range of handheld VOC gas detectors include the affordable Tiger LT and the Tiger Select for total aromatic compounds, such as benzene.
