How It Works

Advanced Sample Management and Reporting

For the best signal quality, the SpectraStarTM XT Series NIR Analyzers use scanning monochromator technology. Near-infrared light is used in these systems to accurately quantify absorbance at each wavelength. Strong calibrations convert this spectral data into several constituent values that are impossible to quantify visually.

These systems are built for versatility, ease of use, and speed, with samples being examined in under a minute.

For consistent and accurate operation across practically any sample type and area, ingot calibrations are developed from over 500,000 samples taken over 25 years.

Custom Calibration Options with UCal™ 4

Custom NIR calibrations for any product, especially culinary, agricultural, and industrial uses, are simple with the optional UCal 4 Calibration Software.
