The IRcube is a robust, small-footprint spectrometer featuring permanently aligned optics and a splash-proof housing that make it ideal for high-complexity process environments. Bruker Optics is entering the area of mid-infrared spectroscopy with the IRcube, enabling OEMs to create innovative standard applications and integrations according to their specific requirements.
Salient Features
The salient features of the IRcube are:
- Top-quality components.
- Better signal averaging.
- High performances.
- Small footprint.
- Permanently aligned optics.
- Insensitivity to vibrations and temperature changes.
- With Active X controls and a developer's tool kit, the IRcube can be programmed with VB scripts, allowing OEMs more flexibility.
- The secure computer interfacing through standard Ethernet, using TCP/IP protocol and an embedded HTML server, improves the IRcube connectivity and mobility.
UHV-Chamber Coupling Module
A parallel exit beam from the IRcube can be utilized for coupling to an external cryostat or a UHV-chamber, enabling transmission and IRRAS measurements. With adaptable focal length optics customized to specific needs, the IRcube can be utilized for a range of applications in the reflectance mode including the determination of layer thickness on metals or semiconductors (e.g. epitaxial thickness, BPSG, diamond layers), the identification of minerals and ceramics, etc.
