Cypher AFM for Imaging Sublimation of Anthracene Single Crystal

This video from Asylum Research shows the sublimation of the anthracene single crystal in air. Anthracene is volatile enough to sublimate directly into gas. For imaging dynamic processes, the slow scan velocity is much faster than the step velocities. Here, the ability to create a movie with nanometer features sans flattening demonstrates the stability of the Cypher AFM.
