AZoM conducted a series of interviews at the MS&T 07 trade exhibition in Detroit between September 17 and 18. Here's what one of the exhibitors had to say when asked about their latest developments, products and technologies.

Melissa introduces us to ATI-425® a titanium alloy that has been under development for the last 10 to 15 years that is now finding a range of applications. She explains its advantages over other titanium alloys such as Ti6Al4V.

ATI's latest development, "Omegabond™", an extrusion cladded tube made from titanium and zirconium is also demonstrated and its applications explained.

"The original application for this 425 alloy was actually for ballistic armour plate."
