G & L Beijer AB has acquired the hose and rubber company, Slang-Pac AB, Stockholm through its Beijer Tech business area. The operation reports sales of approximately SEK 40M and has 14 employees.
The acquired operation markets and sells industrial hose, hose fittings, rubber profiles, mouldings, gaskets and other rubber products. The main target groups for the operation are manufacturing industry, contractors and the building sector.
Through the acquisition, Beijer Tech together with its subsidiary, Lundgrens, strengthens its position as the leading hose and rubber company in Sweden.
The operation is included in G & L Beijer's accounts from 1 November 2009. The acquisition will only have a marginal impact on the Group's sales and results during 2009.
