Could you tell us a bit about the company and why you are attending ACHEMA 2018?
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has about 200 employees, and we are manufacturing screw pumps and PSD pumps. There are a lot of applications for these kinds of pumps and this why we are here selling them at ACHEMA.
What products are you showcasing today?
We are showcasing a part of our range. We are specially here to present our new screw pump. It is a new development which is faster than the old system.
What makes Pumpenfabrik Wangen unique in the market?
We have optimized the flue area, so that we don't have areas where parts can become stuck. This allows the medium to pass through the pump freely.
It's also very easy to clean the pump. In terms of maintenance, we have added a lot of new things, including; the new sealing built inside, which is much, much easier to change than in the past. We also have fewer screws than in previous models allowing for faster repair work inside the pump.
What are you hoping to get out of ACHEMA this week?
