Background

Masteel UK Ltd are a global steel supply and stockholding company, supplying the engineering, power generation, petrochemical, oil & gas and nuclear industries.

Partnerships integrating the resources of the world’s most technically advanced steel mills enable Masteel to provide a single competitive source for the distribution of steel products worldwide.

High Strength Steels

Masteel's range of high strength steels are engineered to promote excellent high yield characteristics which in turn provide an extremely cost effective option for buyers. In many cases, the use of high strength steel will reduce the volume of material required in a project without compromising the quality and safety of the installation because it allows the customer to reduce the material thickness.

Our products not only offer high strength but also excellent impact resistance with excellent formability. We can offer high strength steel with a tensile strength of up to 1300MPa (see section on high yield steel). Our stock range is available in heavy plates and sheets.

Masteel UK Limited offers an extensive selection of high strength steel products which are available for shipping to our customers worldwide.

They include the following:

  • Abrasion Resistant Steel
  • Armour Plate Steel
  • High Yield Steel

Abrasion Resistant Steel

A range of high strength wear resistant steels of varying Brinell Hardness which can improve the product life up to 5 times greater than using standard structural steel products.

Armour Plate Steel

Steels engineered specifically to protect against explosive blasts and ballistic projectiles. Armour plate steel is used extensively in the production of armoured vehicles, walls and door/window frames.

High Yield Steel

Quench and tempered structural steel used in a variety of applications including the production of heavy transport, heavy industrial cranes, and steel framed buildings.
