Introduction
Master
Bond formulates a wide variety of low viscosity adhesives, sealants, and
coatings for a variety of applications. Because of their excellent flowability,
these systems can completely fill in areas around complicated contours. These
compounds offer excellent electrical insulation properties and therefore perform
very well as potting and encapsulation compounds for electronic components,
optical systems, and solar cell applications. Master Bond's
low viscosity systems are ideal for impregnation applications because their low
viscosity allows them to fill cavities and crevices in confined areas in various
cross section thicknesses. These impregnants will eliminate porosity in porous
castings and seal against most fluids and gases.
Low Viscosity Adhesives with Easy Application and Curing
Master
Bond's low viscosity systems offer long pot life. This allows manufacturers
to use such products at their convenience with easy handling. When applied,
these adhesives, sealants, and coatings flow evenly and smoothly, and this
inherent flowability makes the application fast and easy. In addition, these low
viscosity systems bond to a wide variety of substrates, including metals, glass,
ceramics, wood, rubbers, and plastics. Different products cure at ambient
temperatures, or upon exposure to heat or UV light. Both one and two component
systems are available for use.
