UNS C19000 copper alloys are annealed at temperature between 482 and 704°C (900 and 1300°F)

Cold Working

UNS C19000 copper alloys can be cold worked in an excellent manner.

Welding

The welding processes that can be used for UNS C19000 copper alloys include oxyacetylene welding, soldering, gas shielded arc welding, brazing, seam welding, spot welding and butt welding. Coated metal arc welding is not recommended for these alloys.

Forging

UNS C19000 copper alloys can be forged between 704 and 843°C (1300 and 1550°F). These alloys have a hot forgeability rating of 65.

Machinability

UNS C19000 copper alloys have a machinability rating of 30.

Hot Working

UNS C19000 copper alloys have excellent hot forming capacity.
