Introduction

High-leaded tin bronze UNS C93200 is a cast alloy of copper-tin-lead. The addition of nickel in the alloy improves the strength and ductility. UNS C93200 copper alloy is resistant to biofouling and corrosion.

Welding

The preferred welding techniques for UNS C93200 copper alloy are soldering and brazing. Carbon arc welding, oxyacetylene welding, gas shielded arc welding and coated metal arc welding are not recommended for this alloy.

Heat Treatment

The stress relieving temperature of the UNS C93200 alloy is 260°C (500°F). It does not respond to heat treatment.
