Introduction

Copper is one of the most useful metals known to mankind. It is second only to silver in electrical conductivity and also exhibits high thermal conductivity. Copper and its alloys exhibit a high ultimate tensile strength mainly due to the various heat treatment methods that they are subjected to.

Copper alloy C14410 is a dilute tin copper alloy, containing phosphorus. It is referred to as de-oxidized low phosphorus copper alloy. It is available in the form of plates, coils and sheets. This alloy exhibits good resistance to industrial and atmospheric corrosion. It is also known to exhibit sanitary and antimicrobial properties.

This datasheet will elaborate on the chemical composition and properties of copper UNS C14410 alloy.
