Advantages

Good abrasion resistance.  Useable between ( -60°C/-80°F ) and ( +85°C/+185°F ), with certain formulations useable up to ( +140°C/+280°F ). Has excellent impermeability and can be rotationally moulded.

Disadvantages

Sensitive to hydrolysis at elevated temperatures. More expensive than other TPEs.

Applications

Low permeability hose and tubing, fuel tanks, flexible couplings, transmission belts and gears. Impact modifier for PVC.
