Software

Solutions that are appropriate for Raman applications are offered by B&W Tek’s BWSpec® software and Software Development Kit (SDK) packages.

BWSpec®

BWSpec®, a spectral data acquisition software, is the base of all B&W Tek instruments. The software package comprises tools that can perform measurement and calculations at the ease of a button. Users can retrieve data in multiple formats and optimize acquisition parameters such as laser power and integration time. Manual/auto baseline correction and automatic dark removal are also some of its unique features.

Software Development Kit (SDK)

B&W Tek’s customized interface allows users to control spectroscopic instruments through SDKs. Simple laser and spectrometer regulation of calibration, data acquisition and module synchronization can be performed. Although it is designed for 32- and 64-bit Windows operating systems, all USB-based spectrometers can make use of this SDK package.

If users are looking for full system control, then an advanced package with chemometric model support and data processing algorithms is available using models from the BWIQ software. Some of the mathematic functions that enable the delivery of a comprehensive solution spectrometer system include peak finding, curve fitting, a prediction engine and smoothing.

The 785 nm Raman Building Block has three breadboard configurations. Efficient engineers have designed each building block with the highest quality components. Every block ensures that users achieve the most precise and efficient approach to attain their objective.
