PolyOne Corporation , a premier provider of specialized polymer materials, services and solutions, today announced it has received the Frost & Sullivan 2008 Colorants and Masterbatches Green Excellence of the Year Award.
This award underscores PolyOne’s strategic focus on innovative sustainable solutions which benefit both customers and the environment.
Frost & Sullivan, a growth consulting company, presents its Green Excellence Awards annually to companies that have demonstrated initiative toward implementing sustainable and environmentally conscious products and practices. Recipient companies have demonstrated a commitment to reducing the impact of climate change and overall ecological footprint.
The award recognizes PolyOne’s leadership in the development of sustainable programs and services including OnColorTM BIO Colorants; OnCapTM BIO Additive Masterbatches; PlanetPakTM, the Company’s unique packaging system; and the Company’s benchmark No Surprises PledgeSM, which outlines PolyOne’s commitment to helping customers grow their business with safe and environmentally sound solutions.
