It was announced today that Druck Holdings will be acquired by GE Industrial Systems, a division of General Electric Company.
Established in 1972, Druck manufacture precision pressure sensors and instrumentation, specialising in silicon sensor technologies. Their products are sold into all major industry sectors including aerospace, defence, gas, industrial, marine, petrochemical, power generation and transport industries.
While being based in the UK, they have subsidiaries in America, Europe and the Far East. They will continue to trade as Druck upon completion of the transaction.
The acquisition continues GE Industrial’s push into the measurement and sensing technologies sector, and follows their prior acquisition of Sensing Solutions Group. It also provides them with a more comprehensive product range with which to service their clients.
