Dow Corning to Highlight Silicone-Based Solutions for the Glass Industry

Dow Corning experts will make three presentations highlighting a variety of silicon-based solutions for cross-industry applications at the Glass Performance Days Conference & Expo, June 12-15, at the Tampere Hall in Finland.

"For more than 60 years, architects, building consultants, contractors and construction material providers around the world have turned to Dow Corning for its expertise and its silicon-based, performance-enhancing materials and additives for glazing, sealing and weatherproofing new and existing construction projects," said Jean-Paul Hautekeer, Dow Corning Construction Industry Director Europe.

"Over the past nine years, we have established ourselves as becoming the leading materials house to the solar industry by providing cost-effective silicon-based solutions throughout entire photovoltaic supply chain - from silicon feedstock for ingots and wafers production to solar module assembly materials - to enable accelerated penetration of solar energy into the global energy market."

At the conference, Dow Corning will make the following presentations:

  • On June 12 in Tampere Hall, Eric Peeters, Global Executive Director, Solar Solutions, will discuss silicon-based material and system solutions to the solar industry.
