Street rod painter Charley Hutton will sign autographs at the Vibrance Collection Show Truck display for PPG Industries' (NYSE:PPG) automotive refinish business during the 40th annual NSRA Street Rod Nationals, Aug. 6-9, at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
Hutton is well-known in the custom car world and has captured honors for his work on high-end street rods including two Ridler Awards, several Street Rod of the Year and Custom Rod of the Year awards, and an America's Most Beautiful Roadster award. He has appeared on television in the Discovery Channel's American Hot Rod and The Learning Channel's Overhaulin', and he also worked with legendary custom car builder Boyd Coddington on Hot Rod TV.
Hutton began painting cars at age 13, completed his first custom car at age 15, and had opened his own business by age 20. He recently opened Charley Hutton's Color Studio, in Nampa, Idaho, where he uses PPG Automotive Refinish products exclusively.
Hutton will appear at the Vibrance Collection Show Truck exhibit and sign autographs on:
- Thursday, Aug. 6 - 10-11 a.m., 2-3 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 7 - 10-11 a.m., 2-3 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 8 - 9-10 a.m., 1-2 p.m., 5-6 p.m.
- Sunday, Aug. 9 - 11 a.m.-noon
The Street Rod Nationals, produced by the NSRA (National Street Road Association), is one of the largest exhibitions of its kind in the world. PPG is the organization's official paint product sponsor.
