Ticona Add Capacity to North American Operations

Ticona has added capacity to its North American operations. Added capacity consists of a 20% increase at its North Carolina plant and a 30% increase at its Kentucky plant.

Both plants benefit from increased throughput and higher capacity twin screw extruders. These modifications affect standard and custom grades of nearly all polymers. They also make them a more flexible supplier and give them the capacity to be able to manage future needs of customers as well as offering greater capabilities.

Both plants manufacture glass-filled polymers, while the Kentucky plant also offers mineral and other additive filled polymer products.
