Eastman Chemical has entitled Sonoco as a receiver of the Eastman Supplier Excellence Award. The award has been bestowed on Sonoco to recognize its endeavors in 2010.
The Eastman Supplier Excellence Award is presented to companies that care for steady performance in supplying Eastman Chemical with exceptional services and materials, and assist Eastman Chemical to enhance competitiveness and capability. Eastman Chemical has chosen Sonoco as award recipient because the company is providing Eastman Chemical with tubes that are utilized for twisting textile fibers.
Eastman Chemical, in a letter to Sonoco, has said that the preference was based on Sonoco’s participation in meeting the quality expectation of Eastman Chemical and in contributing to on-time shipping accomplishment.
