New Series of Liquid Silicone Rubber for Fabricators

Using silicone rubber selection in various applications is a challenge to fabricators. There is only a slight difference in major silicone types such as liquid silicone rubber (LSR), high consistency rubber (HCR) bases and compounds. HCRs are ideal for hoses and cables, while LSRs are used in injection molding applications.

The XIAMETER brand offers standard silicone rubber that meets the cost and performance requirements of fabricators. The XIAMETER brand has newly added RBL-9200 series of LSR to meet consumer needs. These LSRs find applications in gaskets, keypads, seals, grommets and various other products. The new series has enhanced rheology characteristic, which means that the rubber can flow quite easily into molds. In addition, the RBL-9200 series have longer pot life. This feature will help fabricators to work with the LSR material for a long period of time before it gets cured. The material also adds flexibility in the production process.

In addition to the RBL-9200 series launch, eight latest new rubber product selection guides has been added to the XIAMETER brand to help fabricators choose the required LSR or HCR products.
