Carlisle Companies, a global diversified company, has signed a definitive acquisition agreement with PDT Phoenix. Carlisle designs, manufactures and distributes a wide range of products for several markets including healthcare, dining and food delivery, electronics, aerospace, construction and mining equipment, lawn and garden, agriculture, energy and commercial roofing.
PDT is one of the leading producers of EPDM-based roofing membranes as well as industrial components. In addition, PDT manufactures elastomer profiles for applications in facades, windows, rails and tunnels. The company manages facilities in Waltershausen and Hamburg, Germany and it serves key European markets.
Once the acquisition is complete, PDT will be a part of Carlisle’s Construction Materials (CCM) division. The purchase of PDT offers CCM a significant manufacturing and distribution platform in Europe for its energy-efficient roofing solutions and other products.
The PDT acquisition provides a great opportunity for Carlisle’s CCM segment to serve the European single-ply roofing membrane market. Also, it helps to increase the global sales of energy-efficient roofing products.
