Praxair announced that its subsidiary, Praxair Distribution has purchased Cincinnati, Ohio-based Weldco. Ohio is one among the top 20 US welding markets. Weldco distributes specialty and industrial gases and welding equipment.
Praxair Distribution’s President, John Panikar stated that the acquisition of Weldco expands the company’s presence in the Cincinnati region and it further reinforces their ability to serve clients. Thus, the addition of Weldco helps to build stronger business in northeastern Kentucky and southwestern Ohio.
