Azelis, a Pan-European specialty chemicals supplier, has inked a distribution and marketing agreement with Poliya composite Resins and Polymers (Poliya), a manufacturer of composite resins.
According to the contract, Azelis will supply the popular products of Poliya, namely Polijel high-performance gelcoats and Polipol composite resins, all over the distribution network in Italy.
Azelis Composites’ International Business Manager, Serge Gradys has commented that the company is excited to ink this contract with Poliya, in order to represent the company’s high-performance Polijel gelcoats, custom colored, customized Polipol UPR-polyester resins and other composite products in Italy.
According to Gianni Ostelli, Azelis Composites’ Regional Business Manager, Iberia & Italy, the products of Poliya will be distributed by Azelis in Turkey and in the company’s new plant in Italy. He added that this supply will enable the provision of decreased lead times, quicker response times, better services and efficient logistics.
The Chief Executive Officer of Poliya, Buelent Oeztuna has stated that Italy is a significant market for Poliya. As Poliya has recently signed a production contract with Novaresine, it is expecting for greater opportunities in order to make its overall presence felt in the region. The collaboration of Poliya with Azelis will enable the expansion of Poliya in the region and the qualified professional team will support the sales increase, he added.
Azelis and Poliya showcased their range of products at the JEC Composites Show, held from 27 to 29 March 2012, in Paris.
