Biesterfeld Spezialchemie has announced that it has been selected as the master distributor by Dow Corning for the supply of XIAMETER brand silicone rubber products in European area.
According to Ivan Mini, Dow Corning’s Rubber Global Product Market Manager for the XIAMETER brand, the company has reported that the abilities of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie will be extended for local service and inventory, with an effort to satisfy the demands of the customers. Biesterfeld will market XIAMETER brand products in large numbers together with added service and support, and help customers become successful in a competitive business atmosphere, Ivan added.
Biesterfeld Spezialchemie will market XIAMETER brand rubber products, which also includes fluorosilicone rubber compounds and bases, room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV) mold making elastomers, high consistency rubber (HCR) compounds and compounds and liquid silicone rubber (LSR). Silicone rubber can be utilized in industries and also in applications that include general fabrication of rubber, high-voltage electrical distribution, bakeware, automotive, infant care and consumer goods.
Biesterfeld has become the distributor of XIAMETER brand silicone rubber products in Europe and is establishing its presence. Also, the business collaboration between Dow Corning and Biesterfeld has been strengthened.
Ivan stated that Dow Corning is delighted to work with Biesterfeld Spezialchemie through the capacity expansion.
