Valtech Expands in Malaysia and Europe to Manufacture and Distribute Specialty Chemicals

Valtech, a worldwide manufacturer of specialty chemicals and high-performance products, has declared that it is establishing two additional global sites for manufacturing and distribution.

The company also intends to begin manufacturing, distribution and sales locations in China, Europe, South East Asia and the United States.

Valtech Europe will be the first direct sales office of Valtech in Europe. This sales office will initially concentrate on the distribution and promotion of detergents, formulated using VALTRON, across the markets in Europe, including the ophthalmic lens, precision optical, photovoltaic and semiconductor markets.

The location of the company’s Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is in the industrial development area of Alam Jaya, situated near Shah Alam that is towards the western part of Kuala Lumpur city center. The 30,000 square-foot plant includes manufacturing, warehousing, and marketing of VALTRON formulated detergents. The company’s Malaysian site will assist the regions computer hard disk drive (HDD) production industry, and will also increase the distribution network to the South East Asia to assist the HDD, photovoltaic and semiconductor industries.

Valtech was founded in 1989 and produces consumable products and specialty chemicals that include custom molded polymers, specialty epoxy adhesives and formulated cleaning detergents. The company manufactures these products under the VALTRON trade name. The headquarters of the company is located in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA.
