Air Products to Acquire Sanwa Chemicals

Air Products and Chemicals have reached an agreement to acquire Japanese-based Sanwa Chemical Industry Co. Ltd.

Sanwa are a specialty producer of specialty polyamide resins and epoxy curing agents. They have operation in both Japan and Singapore and emply approximately 100 persons.

The acquisition will bring new products and technologies to Air Products which will compliment their range of industrial gases and chemicals. It also represents their first performance materials division in Asia.
