Darren Bradley Acquires Controlling Stake in Masteel UK

Sheffield-based businessman Darren Bradley has acquired a controlling stake in Masteel UK - an international specialist in the supply and fabrication of high-grade, high-quality specialty steels.

Masteel was formed in 2002 and with a head office in Lichfield, fabrication and warehouse facilities in Coleshill, Birmingham, and sales offices in Belgium and South Africa has since grown to become a leading supply partner for steel mills across the world building strong relationships with international clients in oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, construction, offshore, engineering and defense markets.

Darren, who will join the existing accomplished leadership team as CEO, brings 25 years of experience in managing businesses in the steel and metals processing sector to Masteel and will look to further enhance the company’s service proposition. The previous owner, Simon Ollerenshaw will continue to work with Darren and the existing leadership team Andy Adams and Graham Molyneux to drive future growth.

Commenting on the acquisition, Darren Bradley said: “I am extremely excited to have been able to complete this acquisition and I am looking forward to working with the team at Masteel. The global market for specialist steels is growing rapidly - the future looks bright as we work to build on the strong reputation the company already has in its target markets.”
