DuPont and BP Discuss the Future of Biofuels

Michael Dolan, industry leader of DuPont Biofuels Europe, and Philip New, senior vice president, British Petroleum Fuels Management Group, recently discussed the future of biofuels in the House of Lords with the European Union agricultural and environmental policies subcommittee.

The committee invited the companies and British Sugar, their UK partner, to discuss the European Union's role in supporting the development of biofuels.

"This meeting was a great opportunity to express our strong commitment to the creation of an economically and environmentally sustainable biofuel industry," Michael said. "The partnership exemplifies the leading energy industry, agribusiness and technology companies working together to tackle some of the global community's issues."
