Brüeggemann Chemicals Acquire DSM RIM Nylon Business

Germany’s Brüeggemann Chemical have acquired the Reaction Injection Moulding Nylon or RIM Nylon business from DSM Fibres Intermediates.

Effective immediately, Brüeggemann will produce raw materials and provide technical support to producers of nylon block copolymers using reaction injection moulding technology. DSM will also ensure a complete transfer of technology so that a seamless transition can take place and customers will not be affected.

The RIM Nylon business will become part of Brüeggemann’s Polymer Additives business.
