Tennessee Galvanizing uses only Special High Grade or High Grade Zinc which are very low in impurities and toxic metals such as lead. Prime Western Grade Zinc which is used by many galvanizers can contain as much as 1.4% lead and up to 0.2% cadmium.
Tennessee Galvanizing does not use a Chromate Quench System. Chromium used in these systems can be hazardous to employees and could be hazardous to your customers and end users, not to mention Storm Water Run-off concerns.
