Water Sorption Analyzers

The detection of water sorption behavior can provide researchers with information on the water content, water sorption kinetics, and percent of water intake for a wide variety of industrial purposes. These applications include determining the stability of pharmaceutical agents, as well as cementitious materials, the texture and shelf life of food products, papers and coatings, and much more. By measuring the variance between the vapor concentration surrounding the sample and the change in mass in which it produces, water sorption analyzers function using gravimetric techniques that measure how quickly and how much of a solvent, or water vapor, is absorbed by a sample.
