Coated Refractory Cloth Armatex SQF

ARMATEX SQF Coated Fabrics from Mid-Mountain Materials are derived from its ARMATEX QF product line, with improved resistance characteristics due to the application of a silicone coating on one side. The fabrics are composed of a heavyweight fiberglass fabric covered with a coating of a proprietary, high-temperature resistant refractory compound on one side, and with a silicone rubber coating on the other side.

ARMATEX SQF Coated Fabrics are available in a weight range between 30 ounces per square yard and 100 ounces per square yard. The unique coating combination yields a product with unprecedented abrasion, chemical, temperature and high strength resistant qualities. These qualities make ARMATEX SQF Coated Fabrics ideally suited for applications in hostile environments.

The ARMATEX SQF Coated Fabric products offered by Mid-Mountain Materials include ARMATEX SQF 50 Refractory Cloth, ARMATEX SQF 90 Refractory Cloth, and ARMATEX SQF 100 Refractory Cloth. For ARMATEX SQF 90 Refractory Cloth, the weight ranges between 30 ounces per square yard and 240 ounces per square yard. Figure 1 shows the ARMATEX SQF Coated Fabric.
