ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 18 is a medium weight fiberglass fabric treated with a proprietary refractory mineral coating that considerably improves the resistance to burn-through, flame impingement, abrasion, sparks and molten splash and corrosion.

It also greatly improves the thermal properties of the fabric. ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 18 is developed for use in welding protection and drop cloths, removable thermal insulation jackets, stress relieving blankets and thermal barriers.

ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 24 is a medium weight fiberglass fabric treated with a proprietary refractory mineral coating that considerably improves the resistance to abrasion, flame impingement, burn-through and molten splash and corrosion.
