TA.HDplus Connect Texture Analyzer for High Force Physical Property Measurement

Stable Micro Systems’ TA.HDplusC is the ideal instrument for testing with forces of up to 750 kg⋅f (7.5 kN). It is typically used to measure and quantify empirical, fundamental, and imitative tests in both tension and compression. These tests cover those related to materials properties, texture analysis, as well as effects of rheology of powder, viscous liquid, solid, semi-solid, and granulate materials.

The TA.HDplusC delivers a maximum force capacity of 750 kg while accommodating a series of intelligent, factory-calibrated loadcells, down to 0.5 kg.

Together with the user-friendly Exponent Connect software, this flexible instrument is extremely well-engineered for longstanding accuracy and reliability. It can conduct testing to a few grams without sacrificing accuracy, and simultaneously offers the rigidity needed to allow measurements of significantly higher force for heavy-duty applications.

The greater testing bed area and height range provide the ability to measure much bigger samples within a twin column frame. This makes the instrument the clear choice for users testing a wide variety of products, or for those who have an undefined future product testing necessity.

It can measure almost any physical product characteristics like gel strength, adhesiveness, fracturability, hardness, extensibility of foods, adhesives, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, gels, and other consumer products.

All Texture Analyzers of the Stable Micro Systems Connect series can be operated using the standard equipment Touchscreen Interface, as well as using a laptop or desktop PC. Furthermore, they can also be operated from a tablet or mobile phone using the Browser Interface — an exclusive operational feature in the domain of texture analysis.

Whether users are new to texture analysis, or highly skilled users, or have specific necessities, they have the freedom to select how they wish to interact with the instrument. Stable Micro Systems offers many ways to operate the instrument. Each can be used individually, or in combination.

Stable Micro Systems’ TA.HDplusC

Stable Micro Systems delivers the most versatile Texture Analyzers available in the market, to fully meet the growing demands for accurate, quantifiable, and repeatable textural/physical property information. They measure these properties by recording distance, force, and time data at high speed (2000 points per second). This data is then presented graphically via the Exponent Connect software.

The Texture Analyzer range uses a variety of fixtures and probes based on the needed test method. Each fixture or probe has been developed for a particular group of applications, and can be swiftly and easily attached. Samples are positioned either on the lower fixture or at the base of the instrument. They can even be placed between two fixtures.

In a basic test, the arm of the texture analyzer holding the loadcell moves down to permeate or compress the product. The arm then returns to its original position, simultaneously measuring forces in both directions.
