rapid N exceed® — For Nitrogen and Protein Analysis

rapid N exceed provides quick, accurate, economical, and environmentally friendly nitrogen and protein analysis. The nitrogen and protein analyzer uses the safe, simple, and environmentally friendly Dumas combustion method to provide quick (3–4 minutes) and cost-effective nitrogen and protein determination of samples up to 1.5 g.

The rapid N exceed represents absolute precision and high detection sensitivity and is optimized for unsupervised, high-throughput nitrogen and protein analysis.

Highlights of the rapid N exceed

Highest Sample Throughput

Fast analysis (3–4 minutes) and simple maintenance that allow for the highest sample throughput of up to 300 analyses per day.

Lowest Cost Per Sample

Thanks to the EAS REGAINER® technology and the ability to use CO2 as a carrier gas, the rapid N exceed achieves the lowest cost per sample.

Absolute Accuracy

Absolute precision can be achieved through remarkable combustion and blank-free sample introduction.

Simple and Fast Maintenance

With the pre-filled EAS REDUCTOR® and instrument design, maintenance is simple and quick.

Features

Highest Sample Throughput, Thanks to Fast Analysis

The rapid N exceed offers the fastest nitrogen and protein determination in less than four minutes. The autosampler, which can be reloaded at any time, offers automated analysis for measurements of up to 300 samples per day.

Due to the innovative EAS REGAINER® technology, more than 2,000 samples can be run without needing to replace the reducing agent. The rapid N exceed’s large ash finger is also designed for maximum system uptime. All of this results in outstanding low-maintenance intervention for industry-leading system uptime in nitrogen and protein analysis.

Lowest Cost Per Sample, Thanks to EAS REGAINER® Technology and CO2 as Carrier Gas

The reduction metals required to bind excess oxygen and transform nitrogen oxides to molecular nitrogen are a significant cost factor in conventional Dumas nitrogen and protein analyzers.

This cost has been reduced significantly by incorporating the innovative patented EAS REGAINER® technology into the rapid N exceed. In continuous flow, the reducing agent EAS REDUCTOR® is revived during each combustion phase by the cost-efficient EAS REGAINER®, allowing for the analysis of up to 2,000 samples before replacing the EAS REDUCTOR®.

The rapid N exceed achieves the lowest cost per sample in nitrogen and protein analysis when combined with carbon dioxide, as this is an inexpensive carrier gas.

Absolute Accuracy Due to Unique Post-Combustion and Ball-Valve Technology for Injection

The rapid N exceed ensures unrivaled accuracy and precision in nitrogen determination. A blank-free sample introduction is ensured using the patented ball valve technology.

Thanks to the precise injection of oxygen jet directly into the active zone and the well-established catalytic post-combustion technique, complete oxidation of the sample is ensured, even for hard-to-combust samples.

The rapid N exceed delivers matrix-independent results and ensures absolute accuracy and full recovery.

Simple and Fast Maintenance Through Design and Pre-Filled Combustion Tubes

The fastest exchange of combustion tubes is ensured with plug-and-play pre-filled EAS REDUCTOR® tubes and a slide-out furnace for a comfortable working posture, giving users access to all essential components. Whenever maintenance is required, Elementar's user-friendly clamp connections system ensures a tool-free maintenance experience, saving valuable time.

Future-Proof, Thanks to 10 Years Guarantee

Due to the exceptional sturdiness and longevity of the rapid N exceed, the company offers a 10-year guarantee on the high-temperature combustion furnace and the thermal conductivity detector cell of the thermal conductivity detector (TCD).

The company also offers spare parts for a minimum of 10 years as part of its long-term commitment to technical support. This results in an extremely low total cost of ownership, giving users confidence in the return on investment.
