Memry Corporation, manufacturer of Nitinol components for the medical device industry, today launched its new marketing program, "Innovation in Combination," at the Medical Device Manufacturer's annual trade show in Anaheim, Calif.
With a completely new exhibit design, Memry introduced a new integrated message to the medical device industry, combining the strengths of both Memry and Putnam Plastics Company, which was acquired by Memry in November 2004. The campaign showcases Putnam's advanced polymer extrusion technology as well as the unique capabilities of Memry's shape memory alloys for medical device applications. Focused on the benefits of combining the company's material and process technologies, the campaign is supported by technical bulletins and customer-oriented literature.
Jim Binch, president and CEO of Memry, said, "We are delighted to be able to show our customers the unique benefits resulting from the Memry Putnam combination. With strong contributions from both organizations, we are able to demonstrate how Memry can not only provide customized Nitinol components but also integrate such componentry into completed access or delivery systems fabricated with sophisticated co-extrusion polymer systems. Examples include Nitinol or stainless steel reinforced catheters, delivery sheaths, complete guidewire systems and numerous other critical applications. By combining the talent of our two organizations to solve complex and unique new design requirements, we expect to serve a much broader range of needs than was previously possible."
