PolyCarbon Industries Launches Investigation into Cause of Plant Explosion

PolyCarbon Industries Inc. announces that it has launched an investigation into the cause of an explosion that occurred at one of its facilities on Tuesday, March 22.

The explosion occurred at 4:30 p.m. inside the Company's manufacturing facility located on Elm Hill Avenue in Leominster, MA. The roof and one wall of the building released in accordance with industry standards for explosion proof, safe construction. One operator sustained a minor burn to his hand. He was treated and released at a local hospital. There were no other injuries.

Mr. Ed Price, Co-Founder and President of PolyCarbon Industries, Inc. has given his assurances that all appropriate follow-up actions are being taken. "Safety is an important standard at PCI. We are grateful no serious injury occurred. We continue to work with all fire, environmental, health and safety agencies to ensure that a thorough investigation is conducted."
