A belt conveyor oven has been designed and produced by Wisconsin Oven for a recycled metal bottle manufacturer.

Belt Conveyor Oven Cures Powder Paint on Aluminum Water Bottles

This gas fired oven is mainly developed for curing powder paint on water bottles made of aluminum. The manufacturing rate of the oven is 1,500 aluminum water bottles for every hour.

The chamber of the curing oven has width, length and height of 3’, 12’ and 10”, respectively. The normal operating temperature of the equipment is 125° F and has highest temperature rating is 500° F. It employs a 304 grade stainless steel-based 1”x1” size flat wire belt. The oven has a changeable frequency AC drive and is equipped with a digital conveyor speed display.

A Honeywell UDC2500 temperature controller manages the temperature of the belt conveyor ovens. NEMA 12 control housing, which is UL certified, comprises pilot lights, push buttons and IEC style motor starters. The recirculation system in Wisconsin Oven uses bottom-up airflow design, direct drive blowers and adjustable louvers to provide the required air flow efficiencies.
