$3 Million Funding to Help Commercialise Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology company NanoInk Inc has secured US$3 million in first round financing from Venture capital firms Galway Partners LLC and Lurie Investment Fund LLC.

NanoInk offer technology that allows clients to easily construct nanostructures from almost any material. They have patent-pending technology for this purpose called Dip Pen Nanolithography or DPN, which is capable of depositing molecules onto surfaces and will be capable of producing nano-scale devices on a production scale.

Applications for the technology are broad and include drug synthesis and electronics.
