Learn How to Reduce Costs in Heat Treatment Applications

Published on June 22, 2009 at 8:39 PM

Innovative thinking is at the core of Air Products' (NYSE: APD) heritage. Recognizing the impact of the economy on companies, Air Products is using digital technology to deliver the first in a series of webinars designed to help metals processors find gas-based solutions that can save money, improve product quality and increase throughput-all while operating safely.

Air Products application engineer Tom Philips will present "Furnace Atmospheres for Metals Processing Applications" on July 21, 2009, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET. With more than 30 years of experience in the metals industry, Tom will discuss atmosphere functions, types, selection considerations, and troubleshooting techniques for heat treating operations and materials.

In less than one-hour, metals processors can learn how to reduce cost and improve product quality through proper atmosphere selection and flow optimization. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session, where participants are encouraged to submit questions about their toughest challenges, such as application or production-line problems. For registration information, please call 800-654-4567, and mention code 688.
