BASF’s Building Systems business has reported the launch of a moisture mitigation solution, known as MASTERTOP VB 240 FS, for use together with resinous flooring systems.
This new moisture solution along with flooring systems from BASF like SRS and Selby can be utilized to offer durable flooring, in order to meet the demands of challenging environments.
BASF has specially designed MASTERTOP VB 240 FS for using together with resinous floor coatings. Rapid curing property is featured in this solution for enhanced process throughput and installation time. This moisture solution is a high-performance epoxy coating. It can bond to concrete and can protect durable flooring installations from moisture vapor.
BASF has added this MASTERTOP VB 240 FS to its detailed performance flooring product line. When this new moisture solution is used, the expenses for labor, rework and material can be reduced.
The rapid curing feature of the MASTERTOP VB 240 FS ensures that the flooring system can be installed in a minimum of three hours, thus reducing the down time of the facility. This moisture solution is 100% solids and its formulation is free from a volatile organic compound (VOC).
